Grant’s LASIK Story
Hi my names Grant, I just had LASIK done here at Aurora LASIK. I had the procedure yesterday at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. Right now, it’s about 10 o’clock in the morning. I looked at the capitol building yesterday as a reference, right before surgery. It was just a smudge, a double image, kind of fuzzy. This morning I went and looked at it and couldn’t believe my eyes. I could see scaffolding up there that I couldn’t see 24 hours ago.
I just feel so much more centered because I can see everything. There no filters there’s no blurriness. I have 20/15 in my left eye and 20/20 in my right eye, overnight. Mind-blowing. For about 3 and a half years I have been seriously considering it, especially because they don’t use blades anymore. The laser is so powerful that it follows your eye just in case you accidentally flinch, you don’t have to worry about anything. It takes two seconds, they walk you through it step by step, they hold your arm, they even give you a stuffed animal.
I came in wanting to say no, but every answer they gave me made me say yes, and so I’m really glad I did. I wish I had done this sooner. I’m ecstatic, there isn’t a word for it. They need to make up a new word. I’m definitely going to rub it in because I’m pretty sure my vision is better than my sister’s now I’m going to gloat for the rest of my life.
