Marguerite's LASIK Story

I’m Marguerite and I had LASIK at Aurora LASIK. I had an astigmatism corrected in my left eye and I was nearsighted, so now I can see for miles and miles! I had significant myopia, I shouldn’t see far away, and then I was developing presbyopia for the past couple years, but I didn’t realize that that was exactly what it was. I just couldn’t see - I couldn’t see with my glasses on anymore. I would only wear my eyeglasses when I needed to see something, but I kind of went back to when I was 12 years old and didn’t want to wear my glasses to school. It felt so uncomfortable. So I was up late one night, and I googled, and I found Aurora LASIK very close by. I read all the reviews, and the only bad reviews were from people who couldn’t get the procedure done.

The staff, oh my gosh, they’re so amazing. It was love at first sight. I think it was really tiring me out to not be able to see. When my god-mom came with me for the procedure so she could drive me home, Melissa went and got her a Dr. Pepper out of the staff refrigerator. It just all these little ways that - I mean if she hadn’t done that it obviously wouldn’t have been an issue. We were just joking around, and she asked if wee needed anything. I said “Well she LOVES Dr. Pepper, “ and she said “Oh! Well we have Dr. Pepper.” And let me tell you, they make sure we have everything we need here. It’s the little things that you don’t miss if they don’t happen, but unconsciously take not of them if they do.
