Does PRK hurt?
We are happy to offer all of our patients virtually painless vision correction procedures. The Aurora LASIK team will provide you with everything you need to be comfortable throughout your procedure and recovery.
Before your procedure we will administer some anesthetic drops that will fully numb the eye before surgery begins so your procedure should be painless. PRK can result in some discomfort so it’s important to follow post-surgery guidelines during the recovery process.
