Marguerite Talks About Her Experience At Aurora LASIK and How The Staff Goes Above and Beyond:
Angela Triebold, OD
Dr. Angela Triebold received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University in Oregon. Prior to coming to Aurora LASIK, Dr. Triebold helped establish the Warfighter Refractive Eye Surgery Clinic at Madigan Army Medical Center at Ft. Lewis in 2002. She continued to practice at Madigan for 16 years, ensuring combat vision readiness for service members who had LASIK, PRK, or ICL surgery. During her tenure there, Dr. Triebold served as research coordinator for the refractive program, and helped train ophthalmology residents and optometry externs. She has also practiced full-scope primary care optometry in addition to refractive surgery co-management.
Compassionate, dedicated, and with a positive attitude, Dr. Triebold believes that communication is key to providing quality patient care and building trust in a patient-physician relationship. She loves living in the Pacific Northwest and enjoys hiking and camping with her family and friends, playing the piano, and cheering on the Seattle Seahawks.
Dr. Triebold had her LASIK procedure in 2020 and went from ‘count fingers’ to seeing 20/20!
Nicole Markowitz, Director
Nicole graduated from Centralia College with degree in Business and Nursing. She then became licensed in spa and massage therapy. Nicole spent the next 12 years working in world class spas and medical spas as a provider then director. To continue her passion of helping others and working within the medical wellness industry, refractive surgery turned out to be a great fit when she found Dr. Rudd and Aurora LASIK in 2016. Nicole continues to be inspired to develop her team and grow Aurora LASIK along with the pleasure of working closely with their amazing patients every day.
When she is not at work she spends time with her husband and children, going on adventures and explore the gorgeous PNW. Hiking, boating, motorcycle rides and breweries are where she finds her “happy place”.
Nicole had her LASIK procedure October 2017 and went from 20/40 to seeing 20/15!
Krystle Clement, Ophthalmic Technician
Krystle started her career in Ophthalmology in 2001 working as one of the Patient Service Representatives at Clarus Eye Centre. She continued her career there until she started her family and stayed home with her children. In 2008 she returned to Clarus to work as an Ophthalmic technician with Dr. Rudd in his cornea practice. In 2015 when Aurora opened Krystle moved over to work solely at Aurora LASIK. Krystle enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and dog Zeus.
Lilia Anaya, Refractive Technician
Lilia Anaya is from Tacoma WA, where she grew up, she attended Tacoma community college. Then found her passion in the Ophthalmology field. She worked with a Cataract, Glaucoma Specialist for 13 years, Lilia wanted to continue growing in the eye care field so she joined the surgery team here at Aurora Lasik. Lilia loves spending time with her beautiful family, two Frenchie’s and Cat. Cuddling watching movies. Lilia enjoys the rain, is a foodie, working out is her passion.
Kayla Diez, Refractive Technician
Kayla moved to Washington from Alabama after attending the University of Alabama where she studied biology. After graduating from Alabama, she became a technician at an optometry clinic where she fell in love with eye care! A few years later, her husband got stationed at JBLM in Washington, and she decided she wanted to continue her education in eye care and transition into an ophthalmic setting where she found her new home at Aurora LASIK! Kayla absolutely loves the new challenges and hopes to continue to develop her skills for years to come! In her free time, she enjoys exploring her new surroundings with her husband, and tries to travel as much as possible!
Kayla had her LASIK procedure May 2020 and went from 20/200 to seeing 20/15!
Randi Angwood, COA
She started her time in ophthalmology in 2009 working at Clarus Eye Centre where she worked with multiple optometrist and ophthalmologist until 2017 where her focus turned to refractive surgery. She then decided to join Dr. Rudd the Aurora LASIK team. Randi enjoys spending time with her family in the outdoors. She likes to camp, hike and watch her kids play multiple sports.
Chanteria Puryear, Patient Counselor
Chanteria graduated from Clover Park Technical with an associates in Esthetics Sciences and has practiced locally for over a decade. In 2017 she decided it was time for a new challenge and joined our team at Aurora LASIK. She gets the pleasure of educating our patients through their surgery process at Aurora LASIK.
Chanteria grew up in Tacoma area and enjoys spending time with her friends, family and little one. She is always ready and willing to answer any question you may have.
Emily Siemers, Lead Patient Service Representative & Refractive Technician
Emily joins our team after working in customer service and sales for the past four years. Her passion for helping people is apparent when you first meet her. She loves being a part of a passionate and energetic team that makes a difference in the lives of others. She is dedicated to helping our patients through every step of the process and is always available to answer any questions that might come up. During her free time Emily enjoys painting, reading and spending time with her family and two dogs.
Ashley Scott, Patient Service Representative
After about 10 years working as a waitress, Ashley has developed an interest in Lasik and joins our team. She will be one of the smiling faces that will greet you when you first arrive to Aurora Lasik. She knows all about customer service and will make sure all your needs are met while you are here with us.
She enjoys camping, boating, and spending time with family and friends and her puppies!
