Marguerite Talks About Her Experience at Aurora LASIK and How The Staff Goes Above and Beyond:
Angela Triebold, OD
Dr. Angela Triebold received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University in Oregon. Prior to coming to Aurora LASIK, Dr. Triebold helped establish the Warfighter Refractive Eye Surgery Clinic at Madigan Army Medical Center at Ft. Lewis in 2002. She continued to practice at Madigan for 16 years, ensuring combat vision readiness for service members who had LASIK, PRK, or ICL surgery. During her tenure there, Dr. Triebold served as research coordinator for the refractive program, and helped train ophthalmology residents and optometry externs. She has also practiced full-scope primary care optometry in addition to refractive surgery co-management.
Compassionate, dedicated, and with a positive attitude, Dr. Triebold believes that communication is key to providing quality patient care and building trust in a patient-physician relationship. She loves living in the Pacific Northwest and enjoys hiking, camping with her family and friends, playing the piano, and cheering on the Seattle Seahawks.
Dr. Triebold had her LASIK procedure in 2000 and went from ‘count fingers’ to seeing 20/20!
Nicole Markowitz, Director
Nicole graduated from Centralia College with degree in Business and Nursing. She then became licensed in spa and massage therapy. Nicole spent the next 12 years working in world-class spas and medical spas as a provider, then director. To continue her passion of helping others and working within the medical wellness industry, refractive surgery turned out to be a great fit when she found Dr. Rudd and Aurora LASIK in 2016. Nicole continues to be inspired to develop her team and grow Aurora LASIK along with the pleasure of working closely with their amazing patients every day.
When she is not at work, Nicole enjoys going on adventures and exploring the gorgeous PNW with her husband and children. She finds her “happy place” whenever she’s hiking, boating, going for motorcycle rides or visiting her favorite breweries.
Nicole had her LASIK procedure October 2017 and went from 20/40 to seeing 20/15!
Krystle Clement, Lead Ophthalmic Technician
Krystle started her career in Ophthalmology in 2001 working as one of the Patient Service Representatives at Clarus Eye Centre. She continued her career there until she started her family and stayed home with her children. In 2008 she returned to Clarus to work as an Ophthalmic technician with Dr. Rudd in his cornea practice. In 2015 when Aurora opened Krystle moved over to work solely at Aurora LASIK. Krystle enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and dog Zeus.
Ashley Scott, Refractive Technician
After about 10 years working as a waitress, Ashley developed an interest in Lasik and joined our team. She is one of the smiling faces that greet you when you first arrive to Aurora Lasik. She knows all about customer service and will make sure all your needs are met while you are with us.
Ashley enjoys camping, boating, and spending time with family, friends and her puppies!
Ashley had her LASIK procedure October 2020 and went from 20/250 to seeing 20/15!
Dakota Seldomridge, Refractive Technician
Dakota Started in the medical field in 2018 as a medical receptionist for a Pain Management Clinic. She has since found her way to the eye world and joined Aurora LASIK as one of our Patient Service Representative and now is one of our newest Refractive Technicians. Outside of work, she is born and raised right here in Olympia. She grew up dancing at Debbi’s Dance etc. and in 2019 she married her high school sweetheart. She enjoys spending time with her husband Justin, and her two dogs.
Candace Galway, COA
Candace started her career in Optometry in 2013 and then expanded to general Ophthalmology in 2017. She decided to focus on refractive surgery after moving to Washington from Texas in May 2021. Candace enjoys spending time outdoor with her family and puppy and exploring what the PNW has to offer!
Candace had her LASIK procedure in July 2017 and went from count fingers to 20/15!
Chanteria Puryear, Patient Counselor
Chanteria graduated from Clover Park Technical with an associates in Esthetics Sciences and has practiced locally for over a decade. In 2017 she decided it was time for a new challenge and joined our team at Aurora LASIK. She gets the pleasure of educating our patients through their surgery process at Aurora LASIK.
Chanteria grew up in the Tacoma area and enjoys spending time with her friends, family and little one. She is always ready and willing to answer any question you may have.
Leah Rudd, Patient Counselor
Leah grew up in the Pacific Northwest. She graduated from Washington State University where she also met her husband. Leah had a fun and enriching career in elementary education for 7 years before looking for a change. She enjoys all things music and will gladly sing you a tune! When she is not working, Leah enjoys spending time with her little one and husband, going to the beach, and relaxing at home.
Tanya Klemmer, Patient Service Representative
Tanya graduated from Saint Martin’s University in 2014 with a degree in Business Administrative and concentration in Marketing. Tanya spent about 7 years in the gym world as a customer service representative for multiple different facilities and making a difference in their lives . Tanya wants to continue to make a difference in lives but in a completely new atmosphere. Tanya enjoys working out , spending time with family and friends and most definitely her dog . Tanya’s dream is to do more traveling and explore new places.
